This beautiful 3,600 square foot cabin is the perfect setting for your relaxing get away vacation. The cabin opens up to a spacious open floor plan with vaulted ceilings and large windows to bring plenty of natural light. The main living area has a large sectional situated in front of a gas fireplace.
A large flat screen TV can be seen from the kitchen and dining table, so you don’t have to worry about missing a moment of your favorite movie. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the pots, pans, and dishes you will need for your stay, and has stainless steel appliances. A BBQ grill on the back deck lets you grill up your favorite hotdogs, and an extra long dining room table for ten ensures everyone can gather around for a meal.
Southern Lights has five bedrooms, and four and half bathrooms. The main level of the cabin has three king bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own private full bathroom, while the other two bedrooms on the main floor share a full bath. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, each with a king bed and a bunk bed in them, and a private bathroom attached. There is another bunk bed off the game room area. There are sleeping arrangements for a total of sixteen guests.
The cabin features two covered decks with comfortable deck furniture. There are plenty of spots to settle into while drinking your morning coffee or just taking in the view. On the lower level deck is a luxury hot tub that sits six to eight people, and just off that deck is a large fire ring for campfires. Make sure to bring stuff for s'mores!
If you are traveling with anyone who has difficulty climbing stairs, there is also an outside entry to the cabin that is level with the parking area. This door leads into the downstairs area where the game room is located. Anyone staying downstairs will not only sleep comfortably but have plenty of entertainment just steps away. The game room features a ping pong table, chess table, foosball table, and a flat screen TV in front of a comfy sectional sofa.
If you love off-road trail riding, you will enjoy the close proximity to the entrance of Ouachita National Forest. It is one and half miles from the cabin and has thirty to fifty miles of trails for ATVs and other off road vehicles. There are also plenty of hiking trails there too.
During the summer season, Broken Bow Lake should definitely be on your to do list. It is only six miles to the nearest boat ramp, and the lake is perfect for water skiing and fly fishing.
The nearby town of Hochatown also has several fun activities for the family, and plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. The Hochatown Rescue and Petting Zoo is a local favorite, and the Beaver’s Bend Mining Company is a fantastic way to spend the afternoon!
