Bluebonnet Lodge is a beautiful old fashion cabin with all the modern amenities. A private driveway leads to a cabin tucked away in the woods. This lodge is private, peaceful, and perfect for your vacation. At the heart of the cabin is the cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace and leather furniture— a terrific place for a movie night!
Enjoy a cup of coffee from the provided Keurig and complimentary K-Cup pods before breakfast. A fully functional kitchen with stainless steel appliances makes cooking up a meal a breeze! Off of the kitchen is a half bath and laundry room with laundry detergent provided for your convenience. If you are an avid grill master, you will love being on the full length back deck. The comfy outdoor furniture lets guests enjoy the fresh air while hamburgers are cooking up on the nearby gas grill.
The cabin has three bedrooms and three and half baths. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and has a private bathroom. The remaining two bedrooms are upstairs, and each have their own private bathrooms. One room has a queen size bed, and the other bedroom has a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom, a twin on top, and a trundle underneath. Two sleeper sofas are also available, allowing up to twelve people to comfortably sleep in this cabin.
One of the best rooms in the house is the spacious game room. Its vaulted ceilings show up beautiful wooden beams and a unique stained glass window at the peak of the room. Lots of windows bring in natural light and provide views of the surrounding woods. Three sofas and a game table offer lots of seating. A large screen TV and a shuffleboard table ensure hours of indoor entertainment.
When the weather is too good to be cooped up inside, there is a newly added playset for the kids to enjoy while parents relax in the six to eight person hot tub out on the deck. End the evening around the fire pit roasting marshmallows. Everyone will enjoy the unique ambience around the campfire with the carved wooden totem poles standing tall around the perimeter.
Bluebonnet Lodge is three miles to Hochatown where there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and activities available to explore. The Hochatown Rescue Center and Petting Zoo is a great option for family fun! For the outdoor enthusiast, the entrance roads to Beavers Bend State Park and Broken Bow Lake are about fifteen minutes from the cabin.
The lake provides fishing, boating, and water skiing while trails throughout the state park are great for hiking. There is horseback trail riding also available here. The cabin is also a mile and a half to the main entrance of Ouachita National Forest where there are many miles of off-roading trails to ride so don’t forget to bring your ATV!

The pictures don’t do this Lodge justice, A hidden gem in the woods of Ouachita National Forest. If you are looking for an old fashioned lodge with modern amenities this is the place for you.
